Taylor Young, MA, LPC
Individual & Couples Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I received my Bachelors of Art in Psychology at the University of Kentucky and my Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Kentucky University. I am trained in The Gottman Method for Couples Therapy in addition to Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for Trauma Therapy.

I believe one of the most important things we can share is our story and it can be complex and heavy. I focus on having a collaborative relationship with clients, so we can navigate through the heavier parts of your story together. I offer a warm and non judgemental space to provide support, guidance, clarity, and growth. Whether you are looking for a confidante to explore past and present challenges or you have a specific goal for therapy, you can trust I will support you with knowledge, empathy and compassion.
I have experience among diverse populations and diagnoses, which have helped me shape the way I support my clients in their healing journey. I use an eclectic style of therapy, which allows me to meet you where you are and adapt my therapy approach to your personal needs.
For those that know me well would consider me to be an outdoors lover. When I’m not in the office I enjoy camping, skiing, playing volleyball, and hiking with my dog. Being in nature is my favorite place to practice mindfulness and I believe it can be extremely healing.
