IFS Trauma
Therapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is an approach that helps individuals better understand themselves and heal emotional wounds. IFS is based on the idea that we all have different “parts” within us — for example, a part hat feels anxious, a part that is critical, a part that avoids conflict, or a part that feels hurt from past experiences.
Rather than judging or trying to get rid of these parts, IFS helps you build curiosity and compassion toward them. Many of these parts developed as protective responses to difficult life experiences, trauma, and unmet emotional needs.
Through the IFS process, we work together to:
- Understand internal patterns and emotions
- Develop self-compassion and emotional awareness
- Help heal attachment wounds
- Improve relationships and communication
- Reduce anxiety, shame, self-criticism, and overwhelm
- Create a greater sense of balance, confidence, and connection with yourself
I utilize IFS therapy to support individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, perfectionism, overachieving, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can better understand yourself, process experiences at your own pace, and move toward healing and lasting change.
